Cute kids in the Nativity Program... These kids consist of Diana's Boys, David's boys, Misty's kids & Brians kids...

Justin got us the perfect car... It's the exact one I wanted. Steve had a DVD player installed for Sienna... She is so spoiled!!!
New Family Car... YEAH!!! It's so much safer!!! No more breakdowns on the side of the road.
Love the bow...
I finally got shoes on for this picture...

I think this year's Christmas was one of the best... It started out on Christmas Eve with seeing Santa in the Barn. This has been a family tradition for years. That dang Santa Claus comes to the barn and steals hay to feed to his reindeer.... The kids LOVE it... This year was so funny. Porter was screaming at the top of his lungs to Santa "Hey Santa, it's me Porter... I'm over here." He probably yelled this over 20 times. We then went to the Sargent Family Christmas Eve Dinner. It was so fun. We had a Nativity Program and had Grandpa Jack tell us a great Christmas story. This year it was a pretty small party for the Sargent's but was great. Good food, good conversation, good times. When we got back from the Sargent's we opened present's from Meemah & Grandpa. They got Sienna a new doll, which she loves. We then stayed up until about 2:30 a.m. watching for Santa and laughing. Nicki, Cody, Kath & I stayed up laughing and talking for hours. It was fun...

The next day started early. Sienna decided to wake up at 6:00 a.m. we brought her down and she loved the table that Santa left for her. She was back asleep before the other kids woke up... After the excitment of the day, Sienna and I went back upstairs to take a nap. We woke back up around noon and came down stairs to eat... My husband told me to look out to see if my Nana & Grandpa were here yet and when I looked out I saw a Shiny new car with a big bow on it... I was so excited!!!! Steve kept telling me that the guy looking for our car couldn't find the one we wanted and I was ticked!!! I kept swearing at him at telling Steve we needed to hire a new guy... He had the car for over two weeks without telling me. He wanted it to be a Christmas Surprise... I was hoping to get the car but after it didn't show up in the morning I fiugured there was no hope... I was so excited I actually went running outside with no shoes or socks on and took it for a ride... It is so much easier to get Sienna in and out and she loves it...

I am grateful for this Christmas year... We are very blessed and lucky to live in the times we live in. I am grateful to my family for loving and supporting us and for my parent's allowing us to move into their house for a few days... Thanks meemah and grandpa... The food was AMAZING... Especially the prime rib... Until next year, when Sienna might actutally understand the concept of Santa in the barn... Luckly we have these pictures for proof...

Cousins

Sienna had such a great Christmas... I have to say, Christmas is so much better with kids. I have lots of cute pictures but I used the nice camera so I have to get them developed... I did take these cute pictures of the babies. Sienna & Brooklyn were born a month and a half apart. Brookie came on January 2nd followed by Sienna on February 27th. They are so cute. Sienna it turns out is a little bit of a bully. Everything that Brooklyn was playing with, Sienna would steal away from her... I also looked over when I heard a high pitched screaming to find Sienna riding Brooklyn like a bull... What do you do??? We all new with the Sargent-Winterton combo we would get a little feisty one. We were so right. I'm pretty sure these two will be best friends. How lucky to be born so close together. It is so fun to watch them play together and watch them grow... We just wished Brookie lived a little closer!!!

They were both eating candy canes but Sienna really got hers open... Little Stinker!!!

I'm excited to get the pictures back from Christmas... It was so fun to be with family!!! In the end, what is Christmas without family??? Good food, good conversation, good times staying up until 3:30 in the morning all laying in Nicki's bed... It was so much fun!

POST Graduation

Steve had his POST (Police Officer Training) Graduation on Friday... Steve decided that being an eye doctor was not exciting enough and wanted to become a cop on the side. Sienna and I were so proud of him... He was also awarded the special "Academic" award for the whole class. So he's smart and cute... We are just very grateful that POST is over... We have been dreading this for a year. After his knee injury it pushed back the start date 6 months. I'm just glad the knee made it through all the physical stuff they had to do. He finished with a 95% for the physical stuff. That's pretty dang good for having knee surgery 8 months ago... So, Good Job Steve-o... We are very proud!!! And No... I will not support you through culinary school so don't ask again... (He really wanted to go to culinary school...) I put my foot down at 4 degrees...

Waiting for the ceremony to start... Sienna was pretty much a NIGHTMARE through the entire ceremony. She kept trying to get peoples attention by coughing or yelling at them... It's so weird... I have no idea where she gets that from... Imagine a child of mine being shy???
The Special awards given...
Posing in front of the poster... I wanted to get a shot of him holding his special award and certificates, but Steve was getting annoyed with the photo ops...
I had to throw a few crazy hair pictures in... Sienna's favorite thing to do is eat daddy's glasses and watch football or basketball on t.v.
More Crazy Hair... It's getting so long.

This is the picture of Sienna's first pony tail... It looks so cute. Thanks Aunt Kati for the tiny bows you gave me when Sienna was born... They are perfect for her little tiny pony tail.
Well, I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas... I am so excited to spend time with the family and watch Sienna's reaction to Christmas morning. My brother and his family will be here which should be fun. Sienna will get excited just from seeing Savana and Porter's reaction to Christmas. I am so grateful to spend Christmas with the people I love and not have to fly home from Oregon this year... YEAH!!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Merry Christmas - Sienna 9 months

So I took Sienna to get her 9 month pictures taken... I really wanted Aunt Kati to do it because she is better but she has been so busy being famous I didn't want to bug her... They turned out really well... She really is a cheeser and will smile at anything... It makes my life a little easier...

Sienna in her Christmas Dress

I love these p.j's. They say "My first Christmas on the bum"

I just loved her toes in this picture... She defiantly has her daddy's big feet.
She hated Santa... When I moved away from them so they could take the picture, she started to cry!

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas...

So we have been pretty busy over the past few weeks... We finally got our Christmas decorations put up and found out that I am allergic to Bull Pine Trees. I broke out with hives and my hands started swelling. I copied Kati's tree this year and I am very happy with it. It turned out so pretty. Sienna Loves having the tree up. At least 3 times daily she tries to "Un-Decorate" the tree but it's so poky that it doesn't last long... We also had the Ward Christmas party on Thursday night. We had to go because I am in the Primary Presidency and I had to help Santa with the kids names. It was very fun and Sienna met Santa for the first time. She just wanted to pull his beard off. I also got sick that night and thought I might have got poisoned at the party... But, it's looking like it might have been the 24 hour stomach flu... YUCK!!!!
Also, Sienna learned to crawl up the stairs... I knew this day was coming but have been avoiding it for weeks... I would keep her away from the stairs at ALL costs!!! When I was sick on Friday, I just didn't have the energy to keep her away, so up she went... She is just so cute... She's so proud that she can crawl up the stairs... The last pictures are of bath time... Of course she can't just sit and enjoy the tub!!!
This is what my house looks like at least 8 times a day... She pull everything out and scatters it across the ENTIRE house!!!

The flowers are from my cute Hubby for our anniversary. They went perfect with the Christmas Decor...

When she get's to the 4th stair, she tries to pull her daddy's hair...

The Things She Finds at the Office

So Sienna has been getting pretty bored with the toys that she has at the office. She has started "Exploring" every little space there is in this place, and to be honest, this is a huge office so she is finding all sorts of fabulous things. Today she crawled underneath her saucer and began eating a dried up regurgitated bagel that I had given her on Monday... I know, SO GROSS!!!

She is like a little Hoover Vacuum... She also discovered where daddy hangs out when he's not out with us and that is her new favorite room. When Steve goes in with a patient she crawls over to the door and starts pounding on it while yelling "DAD".... It's actually very cute to us, but I don't think the patient's thinks it's cute...

She is now 9 months old... It makes me a little sad knowing how big she is getting... She weighed 15 1/2 pounds and was 27 1/2 inches at her 9 month check... She's tall and skinny... Another 1/2 an inch until she gets the new big girl car seat...
For Today, She's on Santa's Good List...
She had more fun crawling under this then she ever found while just standing in it... And Yes, That is the Monday Bagel...

"Sienna... You're dad is an Eye Doctor... You don't need to take your clothes off..." I'm now positive that she is 100% my child... Any chance she gets, she takes her clothes off... For those of you who knew me when I was little, I NEVER wore clothes... She has now learned how to take her diaper off. Two days ago I walked in to get her out of her crib from her nap and she had taken all her clothes off including her diaper and chucked them out of the crib... There she was BUCK NAKED... With a HUGE grin on her face!!! SHE IS SUCH A MESS!!!

So yesterday was my 9th Wedding Anniversary. It's a little crazy to think that we have been married 9 years. I met Steve two weeks before my High School graduation. The first time I saw him was at the Chevron in Kamas. I didn't know who he was, but later found out that he was my best friends uncle. I told everyone that I just wanted to go on 1 date with him. After one of our choir performances I went to my best friends house and he was there to eat cheesecake... I referred to him as "Hot Boy" for the first two months of dating. My nana didn't even know his real name because that's all I would call him. We hit it off so well that the rest is pretty much history... I was NOT looking to get married so young... In fact, my parent's told Steve they would have liked him a whole lot more if he would have come into my life about 5 years later. We were engaged over labor day weekend and spent every day possible together leading up to the wedding. I was going to school in St. George so he would drive down every weekend to be with me or I would drive up after practice sometimes not even leaving St. .George until around 10:00 p.m. We had so much in common and have so much fun together. I feel so lucky to have married my best friend. Nobody can handle me the way Steve can. He knows when to back off and when to really put me in my place. So, Happy Anniversary Steve-0.... Here's to MANY, MANY more years to come!!!

I love this picture... Steve is so serious and I am just grinning from ear-to-ear... This is pretty much how I was the ENTIRE wedding day.
This is one of our engagement pictures... I think Steve was trying to be Mr. GQ
I just had to throw this picture in here... I was so proud when he graduated from Optometry School. We worked so hard to accomplish this goal and did it together... He would not have been able to do it without me and I would not have been able to do it without him... Besides Sienna, getting through school being so far away from home was our biggest accomplishments.
This is the day we were engaged...
Classic wedding photo... My mom took this picture and I love how the light makes me look so "angel" like. (Looks are very deceiving...)
