We finally made it to Lava Hot Springs this weekend. We had been planning to go for a couple of months now, but didn't make it up until this weekend. My parent's were able to come with us and we had so much fun!!! Sienna is such a water baby. This is actually her second trip to Lava. Her first trip was at 6 weeks old. (Don't worry, she only got her little legs in that time.) We left Friday and stayed until Sunday. Unfortunately my good little sleeper, who normally sleeps from 8pm-9:30 a.m. decided to not sleep either night. I realize how much I have taken for granted her great sleeping skills. I'm pretty sure we are all a little water logged and Steve and I are exhausted. Hopefully she will sleep better in her own bed... Thanks mom & dad for coming with us. It was so much fun. We only wish Kati & the boys could join us as well as the Disneyland hoppers!!! Hope you didn't get to rained on in Cali. I have to admit we felt pretty bad when we saw it had rained the ENTIRE weekend. And we're off...
Showing off her new swimsuit. Yes, I know how many swim suits she has, but if you know me you know I really should have been born a fish, and I plan to make her the same way.
She was so tired. She just leaned back and relaxed like this for a good 10 minutes. She was watching Mee-Mah do the Cha Cha Slide for her in this shot. Very Entertaining!
Sienna was NOT driving on the road. I promise we didn't pull a Britney. This was in the parking lot of the condo. The first thing she would do is reach down and turn the radio on, then she would start dancing while driving. I wonder where she learned that from???
She loved having Grandpa with us. When we wouldn't give her what she wanted, she would just go to Grandpa and he would give it to her.
We ate Pizza at the local pizza house. It was fun. Grandpa even let the princess dance on top of the table.
A truck pulled up outside the Pizza place with two dogs in the back. Sienna thought that was great and continued to bark at the truck every time it went past the pizza shop.
Her favorite thing to do was put rocks on Grandpa's back and then rub them all off. This kept her occupied for a good 30 mintutes.
This video is of Mee-Mah & Sienna dancing the cha cha slide that Mee-mah taught to all of her 5th graders this week. Sienna really enjoyed it.

She is so darned cute...Looks like you had a awesome time at lava! I haven't been there since I was a kid and I forgot how much fun it is! We need to get together sometime soon. My kids aren't sick anymore, so whenever you have time, give me a call. candace
We wish we could have been there, too! DL was tons of fun...but unfortunately...cold and wet. We braved it anyway...despite being a bit "water logged," we were able to walk on to most of the rides. So, maybe braving the rain was worth it??? The jury is still out...
That video seriously made me laugh out loud. At the end...she was like...get me away from that crazy Meemah!
Looks like you had tons of fun! Wish we could have come too...maybe next time when Mat can come too.
Glad you are home...pretty sure you haven't called me though!
HAHAHAHAHA I just laughed for like five minutes at that video!!! Wish I was there to see it in real life...
Oh my gosh...I know I've told you this probably ten times, but she is BEAUTIFUL! I love your little girl and I don't even know her!
It looks like you guys had a blast--those are some great pictures, and I LOVE the video...
I love her big girl car seat. She looks so long in the last pictures when she is sleeping. I am sad we missed her the other day. But we will see you Sunday...Oh ya, does that work for my RSVP?
Looks like a lot of fun! And I love all her swimsuits too...what a little babe! :)
One of my first memories of you was when you were telling me how you bought a multiple amount of swimming suits with your dad's credit card. I decided right then that you were a fish in a another life. I guess my conclusion was right after all. And now you have an adorable little fish, taking right after her mommy. Love her swimsuits.
