New Sienna Facts...

We had a photo shoot at the office for Office Promotion stuff... She was the best little model and did everything that Emily asked of her. She loved posing in the glasses and now whenever we come to the office she asks if Emily is coming to take her pictures. I think they turned out SO cute... I can't wait to put them on our website and send out mailers.

New Facts about Sienna @ Age 2 1/2 years old...

She is sleeping all by herself in her big girl bed... (She did really well the first week, after that we play the get out of bed 10 times for random things. Her new ploy is to ask daddy to come "nuggle" her in her big girl bed... He falls for it everytime - SUCKER!)

She is potty trained!!! YEAH!!! This has brought on a whole new round of funny things that she has said.

Now being potty trained she feels like this is a new way out of going to bed. She will insist on going down stairs to go to the bathroom at least 3 times during the going to bed process. Keep in mind she has her OWN bathroom in her bedroom!

She has made Grandpa Seth VERY PROUD by repeating several things that he has taught her... For Example...
-Spider spider on the wall,
don't you know that you might fall.
Don't you know that walls been plastered,
Get OFF that wall you Stupid....
.
.
.
.
.
.
Spider...
Yeah, I almost had a heart attack the first time she said this thinking the last word would turn out different...

AND...
Over the bridge across the lake, a mile a minute she has to make, a terrible snake with flaming eyes, that wiggles and waggles across the ties. Cinders falling with fiery flames, the tunnel is coming to swallow the train.
Goodbye Goodbye tomorrow will come again.
***This is an old family favorite. Keep in mind that she has to say it really fast like an auctioneer***

AND...
There was a little house in the middle of the woods,
by the window an old man stood.
Along came a bunny hopping by,
knocking at the door...
HELP ME, HELP ME, HELP ME (in the highest pitch voice ever)
he said, or the hunter will shoot me dead,
come little bunny come with me,
happy we will be...

She is still pretty ticked that the baby is the boy! She still tells everyone that it's a sister and insists on calling baby brother "Elpahaba Jack Jack"

Every time I leave her to go somewhere she asks me if I'm going to the "baby doctor" Do you think I've warped her thinking or what?

She "NEEDS" Everything...

When I ask her to do something she has started telling me
"I don't have too..."

She has learned that when she gets in trouble, to ask for the opposite parent that is punishing her...

She LOVES her new cousin Baby Maddox. She pretty much asks for him once an hour during the day. Then after asking to go and see him she follows with "he's so cute" Let's hope she keeps this going when her own baby brother gets here and she realizes he's staying.

We went to take her swimming two weeks ago on a Saturday night. When we got there they were just closing the pool down but kids were still swimming. When we told her they were closed she was TICKED!!! Everyday after that she continued to tell me "remember we went swimming and they were closed?" Well, yesterday we drove past the pool again and she asked me "should we go yell at them for closing the pool"

She tells me daily: "mom remember nana's not sick anymore, Grandpa Grant took her home." If only this were true.

She calls thunder, flounder. And anytime she hears it she remind me that "we don't like flounder"

If she's doing something that you tell her not to, she tells you "it's okay" or "I'm fine"

Bear Lake 2009

Nothing cuter then a 2 year old wedgie...

Riding on the "little boat" with Daddy.
Cameron caught a frog. Sienna decided she wanted to hold it. When Steve brought it over she proceeded to scream like a little girl and run away. I was actually quite proud... I want her to be a little girly!

Sienna didn't stop ALL day... She ran and played and swam and then crashed at night.
Sleeping on the Banana Pepper.

We took our annual Bear Lake Trip at the first of August. I was so excited and it was one of the best years yet. Sienna loved it this year and it was so fun for her to play with all of her cousins. She played so hard and by then end of the day would fall asleep in about 2 minutes. We look forward to this trip every year and can't wait until next year. When we left, every lake we passed she would ask if it was Bear Lake. She finally fell asleep and when we were dropping down into Bear Lake I woke her up to show her the lake and she got the biggest grin on her face. I'm glad to know this baby takes after her mama and love the water as much as me.

24th of July

The 24th of July we spent in Kamas at the "Kamas Fiesta Days" It was really fun and Sienna loved the Parades. She was in the kids parade on Saturday morning but she was more interested in eating the candy, instead of throwing it. Everytime I saw her she was eating candy. I decided to be crafty and made Sienna & Alyssa Patriotic TuTu's. Let's just say it's a good thing Emma decided, at her moms suggestion to not be in the parade. I'm pretty sure making two TuTu's at the same time is my limit. But at least they looked cute!

A 10:00 a.m. Parade for this baby girl is just way to early!!! When your normal wake up time is 10:30 she just did not like this.
I hope this cheese smile ends soon...

My dad was in the Parade for Hard Core Fitness. I wish I would have got a picture of him actually working out on the float... As much as it hurt when I went to this place, I kind of miss it... JUST A LITTLE:)

Baby Boy Sargent!!!

So, now that I am half way through this pregnancy I'm feeling pretty hopeful that I might actually hold onto this one... We had the BIG ultrasound yesterday and there was no denying that this baby is ALL BOY!!! Sienna's not too sure how she feels about a "baby brudder" she wanted a baby sister to name "Elphaba" Now, she seems a little excited because she can name him Baby Jack Jack, off the incredible's. It's been a pretty non-eventful pregnancy besides the few freak outs I've had thinking the heart had stopped beating... BUT after the last freak out we caved and ordered a Heart Doppler so we didn't have to bug my poor doctor with my constant panic attacks.
The official due date is Christmas day but he's measuring a little small so it's been pushed back to the end of December. We are very excited and can't wait to meet this little guy. I'm just hoping it will slow down a little bit, this pregnancy is going way too fast!!!

Bear Lake

Here's a preview of all the fun we had at Bear Lake...
***We went down the first night we got there. It was later so I decided not to put a swim suit on. I thought she would just wade in her shorts... I was SO wrong. Next thing I knew she had stripped all her clothes off and was up to her neck in water... Luckily, we were the only one on the beach so***

Summer Happenings

This is the greenhouse... This place is really amazing. We have tomatoes, pumpkins, cucumbers, jalapenos, Zucchini, Yellow Squash, Green Peppers and Banana Pepper. We have really loved having this. We also have a huge pea garden that is so close to being ready to be eaten and tons of radishes and green beans. . We are so excited to start eating everything we have grown!!! I'm just a little impatient and I'm ready to get to the eating part!

There have been some big changes in our house over the past few weeks... We have moved Sienna to a "big girl bed". I am finally attempting to take the binkey away, she is doing so good with potty trainings and she keeps saying the funniest things ever...

Some of my favorites include:

We were driving home from dropping her baby sitter off and I asked her what she wanted for dinner, she looked at me and said... "I don't know... Something Amazing!" - I'm pretty sure she's seen The Incredible's one to many times....

Speaking of Incredible's. Her daddy did something and she started jumping up and down yelling "that was totally wicked!"

Aunt Tasia had Baby Maddox last week (Which if you haven't see this boy you really need to head over to HERE and see this little munchkin...) but I showed her the picture she had sent me right after he was born and she looked up at me and said "did she buy him at the store? Can we go buy one?" I thought that was the cutest thing ever... But was confused because we have been having deep discussions about babies coming out of mommies bellies and all that good stuff... Too bad it's not as easy as walking into a store and picking one out! :)

She is so dang observant I have to watch myself all the time... Steve got home from fishing last week and was sitting on the steps taking his fishing gear off and she went and sat down next to him and asked "how was the fishin dad?" And when he get's home from work the first thing she asks him is "how was work today?" Also last night Steve was watering the pea garden and she came over and asked "how's your peas doing daddy?" He told her good and she then asked how "her peas were doing" (We let her plant her own in a certain area...)

I find myself constantly amazed at how much she knows. There are times throughout the day that she says something and I literally just bust a gut laughing. I really don't know where she comes up with the stuff she comes up with. I really don't know what I would ever do without her. She is the most entertaining thing I have ever seen. She may drive me absolutely crazy a lot of the time but at least she can make me laugh like nobody else can!

She has been doing so well in her big girl bed. This is something that I have been dreading doing for MONTHS!!! She is such a good sleeper and I thought it would all go down hill when she realized she could get out of bed, but we have had no problems at all... She just goes in, lays down and falls asleep. Not sure how I got so lucky but thank heavens... Now if taking the binkey away could be that easy... She is pretty against the idea and I think she's grown even more attached to the stupid things. We are going to have to go for something drastic to get this kid to give it up!!! Wish me luck!

The picture above caused some serious tears... I can't believe my baby girl is old enough to have two french braids!!!

We went to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale yesterday. I just have to say this has been a huge family yearly event ever since I can remember. We always did our school shopping at this sale and I haven't really been able to go to it for years and years. We decided we needed to create memories for Sienna and take her along... I'm not sure if she was as excited about the Anniversary Sale as I was, but she sure had fun! The night before we went she came home and proudly told her daddy that she was going to "the Nordi Sale..." he responded with "Oh Hell!!!"
She found these nice purple shades and I didn't think I was going to get out of there without them. Luckily I distracted her with a pair of Ugg crotched boots so I was off the hook... She's a total sucker for shoes~! It was so fun being with my mom and Baby sister shopping for the day. We all came home with cute new clothes and can't wait to wear them. I felt like I was school shopping all over again... But it was so much better this year, cause I don't have to go to school!

Fourth of July

Brooklyn, Sienna & Savana. (Brookie and Sienna are 6 weeks apart.) It's so fun having cousins so close in age... Even though they only get a long for the first 5 minutes they're together.

The 4th Of July is my favorite holiday by far... I'm not really sure why, I just know that I LOVE it... This year we made it to the Parade, Rodeo, and the Annual Winterton fireworks extravaganza... It was quite eventful and I would like to think I have converted my daughter to it also being her favorite holiday.

We have been trying to get Sienna on a horse for the past year... I was afraid that she was taking after her mom and would never ride a horse, UNTIL she saw Brookie, Savy and Porter riding, she up and decided it was time for her to ride. She loves riding Silkie and Colie and now asks Grandpa frequently to ride them. Luckily for Grandpa, her attention span is about 5 minutes so he doesn't have to spend hours walking her around the field, because there is NO way her mama would do it.

We went to the rodeo with Paul, Ruby, Cameron and Alyssa... All day I kept telling Sienna that she was going to the rodeo and she was so excited... (Even though she had no clue what a rodeo actually was.) I put her down for her nap that afternoon hoping she would take a good nap so she wouldn't be tired that night... After and hour and a half of singing I finally gave up on the idea of her sleeping and went to get her out of the crib. When I walked in the first thing she asked me was if it was time to go to the rodeo... She had lots of fun playing with Cam and Alyssa and running all over the rodeo grounds. She wasn't to fond of the rodeo clown jumping his motercycle over the trailer but she snuggled up to dad when she got scared~

This is the new crazy face she makes when I tell her to say cheese... It's been driving me bonkers!
Watching the crazy clown...

Covering her ears for the fireworks.
I love these two girls
At the beginning of the Summer we bought Sienna this pool. When we first got it, the weather wasn't the best and it was pretty cold up where we live. So the first night we filled it up Sienna's daddy decided he would boil 4 pots of water to make the little princesses pool warmer. She loved it and played in it for hours that night. The next time we went to fill it up the weather was a lot warmer so Steve just stuck the hose in it and filled it up with cold water. The minute she stuck her foot in the water she immediately took it out and said " daddy it's too cold, you need to drain it and put warm water in it..." Steve looked at me and gave me this look like, look what you have created, I just laughed and told him that this time he created the little drama queen... BUT being the smart wife that I am, I just told him it would be a lot easier to hook the hose up to the hot water hook up for the washer and fill it that way, instead of boiling a whole bunch of water...
Tthe little princess has never got into a cold pool yet, she can get her daddy to do pretty much anything she wants.
Man, I love that little Roxy bum...

I didn't get any pictures of the Winterton Fireworks Extravaganza... I'm hoping to steal a few of Kathryn's pics if she ever blogs about the 4th of July :) BUT I can tell you this year was bigger and better then ever... There's just something about grown men lighting fireworks that makes me laugh. Every one of them would run away after lighting them with the biggest grin on their faces. I am still shocked at how incredibly stupid they are, with Cody's Gas explosion at the beginning of the show and Steve literally leaning over the fireworks... (Didn't he read the release from the American Optometric Association on firework danger.) It's still fun and nobody was hurt this year so that's a plus... Also, none of the fields started on fire and Steve's BFF the fire Marshall didn't even show up... So all in all- Good times! Can't wait for next year!

Sunday Drive

We decided to take a little Sunday drive today. I have been wanting to take Sienna to Provo Falls for a while and today was the day. SHE LOVED IT! I have pictures, but I have to get them developed. I always forget how pretty it is up there. I have lots of pictures to download but I have to do it at the office. The fourth was great. I'm always so sad when the 4th is over.
