Moving

For the 9th time since I have been married we are moving! I can't believe we are actually doing it. I have been debating for the past 2 months, but in the end Space and location beat out my hatred for packing and moving. I wanted to post the 8 places I have lived but then realized I would have to get in the attic and break out the pictures, so I opted against that. I'm a little sad. We have lived here for almost 3 years. That is tied for the longest we have lived anywhere. We did live in Oregon for 3 years so we almost made it to a new record. I am very excited for the yard, the view, the space, the fire pit, living less then a block from Mee-mah & Grandpa, living 10 minutes from the office, & having a trampoline and sandbox for Sienna. There are many positives to the move. I will miss terribly the luxury of living 5 minutes from Days Market, the swimming pool, having someone shovel our walks and mow our lawn, and the bike path in front of our house. So, I have 30 more days of living here and 30 days to go through all of our crap we have acquired over the past 10 years and get rid of it!!! Wish me luck. Hopefully this will be our 2nd to last move EVER!

Photo Catch Up

These are pictures that I don't really have much to say about, just wanted them in her book!
My favorite part of my entire day is sneaking in to check on Sienna after she falls asleep. I find her in the most random positions and have taken several photos. Most nights I check on her at least 3 times.

She could swing FOREVER!

Another sleeping shot
We went to the Homestead to feed the ducks. They got a little to aggressive for Sienna. Once we pulled out the bag of bread they came running over to her and scared the crap out of her. We didn't last very long.

This past weekend we dog sat for my parents. Sienna LOVED having Molly here. Every morning she would wake up asking for Molly. After it was all over and we returned Molly home, Sienna cried all the way to the office.

Worst Mother Ever

There have been a few moments in my road to motherhood where I have felt like the worst mother EVER!!! Friday, Sienna bailed out of her crib. I was down stair and heard a huge crash! By the time I made it up stairs she was still holding her breath!!! It was heartbreaking. As soon as the daddy got home that night we lowered the crib. Do you ever get over feeling like the worst mom?
I have lots to blog about but lost the cord to my camera. Hopefully it will turn up soon!

The Swaddle has been retired!!!

I never thought we would be able to get Sienna to sleep without the swaddle. I thought she would be 16 and I would be wrapping her up to go to bed. Over the past few weeks we have slowly removed the swaddle from our life... I am so proud that she is doing so well. She looks so big. We have a new bedtime routine. No more rocking we just put her in the crib, she cries for a few minutes then goes to sleep. I do have to go in and remove the blanket from her head. She has to have to over her head and it makes me so nervous so after 10 minutes I go check on her and remove the blanket. It's a big accomplishment to get over the swaddle... Next up, the Bink...

Mom's Graduation

My mom graduated from UVSC on Friday. She finished her teaching degree and already accepted a 5th grade position. Not only did she graduate, but she graduated with High Honors. We are all very proud of her and glad that the school part is over. After graduation we went to lunch at Mcgraths fish house. We hope Mee-Mah had a very special day!!! Congratulations!!!

I Would Die For That...

I'm not going to lie... This made me cry a lot... I always have a hard time with people who complain about being pregnant, or treat pregnancy as a disease. It's amazing how many people want to be pregnant, or who have lost a child. It just changes you're perspective on things!

Messy Post

This is a messy post... I have pictures from a bunch of different things. I'm just trying to get them posted so the blog stalker doesn't stalk me down in the grocery store again and tell me what a slacker I am... Here's the short version of all the pictures. We went to St. George and had an amazing time. Colbie Calliat was amazing and we had fun hanging out at the pool and going to the park. Wish my sister could have been there but they bailed! When we got back from our trip all the snow had melted at the park so we have spent several hours at the park over the past 3 days. I have a feeling we'll be spending a lot of time over there. One night Sienna was so exhausted she fell asleep on Steve's leg... This is the child who still needs to be swaddled to go to sleep... It was a miracle she fell asleep like that... We've had big events happen in our house this week. Sienna can now say puppy, bampa, mee-mah, baby, hot, out, and more. She is amazing me at how much she is picking up. Steve and I are officially on our best behavior trying not to swear and cuss too much now that she is mimicking everything we say. I'm sure she will pick it up and she will go around saying shit all the time, but we'll see if we can be a little better at it... After all, I do live with a closet logger!

Favorite picture... She is being really generous with kisses lately.
Note to self... Don't put swim diapers on Sienna's head, she really hates it.

Sienna & Brookie

Tasha & Aaron's Wedding

Steve's niece Tasha got married two weeks ago... She looked amazing! We went to the luncheon at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and Sienna dragged Grandpa Jack all over the place. He even let Sienna play in his cup of water. When we got to the dinner we walked in to see her wedding colors were brown and pink... Sienna just happened to be wearing those colors so she fit in just perfectly. Congrats Tash & Aaron.
