Cornbellys

Cody & Kath came into town last week. We decided to take them to Cornbelly's @ Thanksgiving Point. This was our first year going. It was really fun. Savana was so cute with Sienna. She would take her little hand and lead her all over. It was so much fun spending time with her cousins. They don't get to see each other very often so we have to jump at every chance we get to be with them.

I called Sienna the Duck whore...
This was a big box of corn... She laid in it, rolled in it, put it down her shirt. I was laughing so hard watching her try to get it out of her shirt. She had a onesie on so you should have seen how much corn went down her diaper...

Love these kids...
Yep, mines the one screaming because Granpa was holding her instead of letting her run...
Grandpa was volunteered for the Oldest Man pig race contest... Doesn't he look cute?
Nana & my dad joined us at Cornbellys. How lucky are we that Grandpa now has Fridays off... Woo-Hoo!!!

Giant jumping pillow. This was her favorite!
Savana & Porter had never seen popcorn being popped... They only knew about
Micorowave popcorn... They were quite facinated...
Thanks for the fun weekend Cody & Kath... We had so much fun spending time with you... BUT!!! My stupid landlord did not hang up the trim that I wanted up... Guess I better get the landlords father on that... Right???

We were brave and let the kids eat at a table on their own... They were so good!
Until next year... I'm going to miss that cute Pumpkin sweater Sienna's wearing...

Cookie Decorating

I have so many great pictures to add... After my whole situation with the digital camera falling in the river, I have gone back to developing film and then posting. I picked up three rolls yesterday & am so excited to share all of our exciting adventures... But, some will have to wait because I have a total Halloween hangover today!!!

My first ever Apple Crisp... I kind of made up the recipe but I have been told I should just change my name to Staci Crocker... It was AMAZING!!!
I'm thinking of getting family pictures taken in the awesome glasses and hanging it up at
the office!
Brookie & Sienna look completely wasted in this picture... They had a really long day at
Thanksgiving point.
When we lived in Oregon I would take Savana over night and we would make sugar cookies.
When I heard she would be up close to Halloween, I jumped at the chance to continue our tradition... Sienna was more interested in eating the frosting then actually decorating the cookies.
Gotta love the "Sargent Scowl"

When Daddy's Away... The Girls Will Play!

So I'm not going to start off this post by lying!!! I HATE hunting season. I try to pretend like I really enjoy it, but deep down I am only pacifying my husband by acting intrigued by the stories that he tells me. This year Steve had this brilliant idea to enroll in the dedicated hunter program. The way he explained it to me, was that he could hunt deer, with any weapon, during any of the weapon hunting periods... His thinking... If he could not make it out for the Bow hunt, he could just go on the Muzzle Loader hunt... If that one did not work out, heck he could go on the rifle hunt. The only thing that this actually did was PROLONG the hunting season! Instead of hunting two weeks out of the year he ends up hunting 6 weeks!(Because you have to throw in two weeks for the Elk Hunt) I really don't mind Steve going hunting. It's something that he really enjoys and I love for him to get to do stuff that he enjoys. It's just hard over the long weekend, home alone! I found another benefit to having my baby girl. Now I have somebody to actually hang out and play with me. We started the long COLD weekend off with a girls movie night. We popped popcorn and indulged in total chick flicks... (Toy Story 1 & 2, Monsters and Finding Nemo.) We went and spent an hour with Aunt Tas & Emma, went shopping to try and find me a new pair of jeans (we totally failed) and made yummy treats all weekend long! Here's a few pictures we wanted to share with daddy to make him totally jealous of all the fun that we had.
Right after Steve left Sienna decided to dump the ENTIRE box of cheerios all over the floor!!!
Thank heavens for having my new Dyson! It's the best money I have ever spent and has literally saved my marriage. If you don't have one of these babies you NEED to get one!
We played dress up with bowls on our heads!
Ate Brownie batter! (Please don't lecture me on the dangers of un-cooked eggs!!!)
Played with a little styrofoam

Ate Chocolate pudding
This was taken before Steve left... Just had to throw it in because I just love this picture. Sienna LOVES to help daddy take the garbage out and bring it back in. She holds on the entire way out of the driveway. I smile every time I see them coming up the lane.
Drank peaches & Creame... Like a puppy! She practicing for Halloween!
Ate rice crispy treats. Yep, we pretty much ate A LOT of crap!
Played with the bunny Aunt Angie gave her for her birthday.
And finally daddy retunred to a sick baby who was up with a
104 degree fever... Welcome home Daddy!

Thankfully only two more weeks of hunting season!!! If it works out as planned I will have a nice
picture of a HUGE deer to post next week!

Blog Stalking

I LOVE blog-stalking!~
I love finding new people!
I stumbled upon an amazing blog a couple of months
ago and have been stalking it ever since.
This little family has gone through so many trial and heartache
& I swear they are the most loving and forgiving people on this planet!
There has been so much stuff that has gone on over the past few months
in my family and after reading this touching post last night, I literally went
& got my baby girl out of her crib & rocked her for over an hour! Just to
be able to hear her breathe and smell her sweet skin was such a blessing!
Lacey, the blog poster has taught me such an amazing life lesson!
I am going to try and be more like her, more understanding and loving and I am
purging all the negativity out of my life, no matter how hard it is to do!

My Little Puppy

I attempted to get Sienna's picture taken in her Halloween costume... She did NOT cooperate... Little stinker would not smile!!! We will have to try again next week when she's not feeling so crappy. She had her well baby check on Thursday. She weighed 18 pounds... She's not even on the charts for her weight but she's in the 75% for her height. She's getting so big but had to get 5 shots and was NOT happy. It was so sad seeing her little face getting the shots.

Sienna and her Bampa...

Before it turned off to cold we took Sienna out to the River to play a little... The boys went fishing, the girls went swimming...

The best Grandpa Ever!!!

We started off with clothes but quickly had a naked child on our hands...

We lived in Oregon for 4 LONG years... I am so grateful I made the decision to move closer to home to have my parents be such a big part of my daughters life!!! You can't get this time back, you have to jump at every chance to make them a part of your life... If you don't... Well your just pretty stupid and completely SELFISH!!!

The best part about living next door to my parents....
Going fishin with Bampa
Having dinner every night with them... (We trade off who cooks...)
Riding the 4-Wheeler with Grandpa
Helping Grandpa feed Colie
Having Mee-Mah teach her "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"
Seeing my baby girls face light up every single time she see them!!!
The coutless memories we are making
Going to church every week and having Sienna run up while Grandpa is teaching Sunday School playing peek-a-boo with the entire class... (Not a shy one!)

Utah State Fair

I am so mad that Summer is over. I usually LOVE the fall but I just feel like we were totally ripped off this year. I am planning a very tropical vacation for February. I know by then I will be throwing myself against a wall ready to get away... We've been pretty busy the past few weeks which has been a blessing in disguise. I can't tell you how grateful I am to have my baby girl. I'm pretty sure I would be in the Psych ward if I did not have her... Thanks to all the people who brought dinner to us or just stopped to check in... Seriously the McNeil girls are amazing. Wish I had sisters like you!!!
I had these three girls for about 1 hour one day... Can I just say I am SO GLAD I did not have triplets??? I am so just grateful that these little girls have each other... How cool to have cousins the same age???
Little Miss Utah's Own... My favorite part of this picture is the watermelon juice dripping down her chin. Every time we would drive past the trailer while it was parked at my parent's house Sienna would wave while saying "hi Sienna..."
What is it with kid putting things on their heads? I've spent a ton of money on her Halloween costume and all I had to do was put panty hose on her head and she'd be just as cute! What was I thinking???

Since I was a little girl we have always gone to the Utah State Fair... I just love it and it's so much fun now that I have a kid... Sienna was finally big enough to go down the big yellow slide... Her face was priceless, and when she was done she just started clapping and jumping up and down. I was looking at the post from last years State Fair adventure and I can't believe how much Sienna has grown...

Note to self for next year: Do not take your daughter to the fair with White bows on her shoes... They will end up BLACK!!!
