Poor Horse

So, Sienna is NOT to fond of horses. I thought she would love it. My dad took her around the house 3 times and she screamed the entire time. I got her off and she would pet the horse but when I went to put her back on she held onto me for dear life screaming No Bye Bye... It was sad but she's got to get used to it, living on the ranch. She probably didn't like it because she wasn't in the proper attire. I will put her in her jeans and cute cowboy boots for her next ride and I am sure that will make a huge difference. And, if you look really close in the first picture you can get a glimpse of our new house. Very Exciting, even if I will be homeless for a week or two, it will be worth it in the end... The big move happens this weekend, two weeks sooner then we were expecting!!!I'm hoping that this next weekend when Sienna sees her cute cousins Porter, Savana & Brooklyn riding the horse, she will warm up to the idea...

What is going on with Google??? It took me 10 minutes to get into my account tonight. I had to reset the password, anyone else experiencing problems?

Countdown to my favorite holdiay

I just want to say that I am so excited that we are only 13 days away from my favorite holiday! I LOVE the 4th of July. I LOVE everything about it. Sienna has 9 outfits for the holiday. I just have a weakness for buying anything related to this holiday. We were hoping to be moved by the holiday but it's not looking very promising. The boys worked really hard today laying the wood floor but it's just so overwhelming how much needs to be done. Sienna has been such a little trooper. I feel so blessed to have this amazing child following me around daily. I wish she would stop telling me NO every time I ask her a question and it would really be nice if she she would stop throwing her head back whenever she doesn't get what she wants. I need to read a new parenting book. This child just has WAY to much spunk!
This is her new smile... I can't get her to stop showing the teeth!
One binky is just not enough!

Check out her new Molers...
This is the result of a long day of shopping at IKEA!
(Her daddy provided the nice kit-kat that is ALL over her face!

Happy Birthday & Fathers Day Steve-O

It was my little hubby's birthday today. We had a great party for him at my parent's house with great ribs, great company & great weather. Thank heavens it's starting to feel like June. We went to check out the new house and cleaned the upstairs to prepare it for new carpet. I can't believe we'll be moving in two weeks... AHHHHH!!! I also just wanted to say Happy Fathers day to Steve, my daddy & Grandpa Jack. Thanks for being such great dads. We're lucky to have you!

We almost started the house on fire because Steve's so OLD!!!

I knew she would LOVE ribs... This kid can down beef jerky like an adult, so she thought the ribs were great!

Staci Junior...

Last night Steve looked at me and said that he honestly didn't see any of himself in Sienna. It freaks him out how much a like we are. It's crazy to see this little tiny person with such a huge personality and attitude. Her new favorite word is NO! And she says it with such force there's actually rage behind it. She wants to do everything herself and pretty much could care less if Steve and I are there or not. She has never been attached to me. She will go with anyone. At the office she honestly believes that the reason people come in, is to play with her. I am in so much trouble! I left her for the first time over night this past weekend. Steve took me to stay at the Stein Erickson lodge. It was amazing, but I missed Sienna so much. I called 5 times and asked Steve at least 20 times if we could just go pick her up. It was good for us, but I still can't believe how hard it was... We have been spending A LOT of time outside. It been a little cold but Sienna could care less what the weather is like. She just wants to be outside.
She is really into bugs. This particular picture is a potato bug. The problem is, after squatting down to watch them for about 5 minutes, she quickly tried to squish them with her feet. Morbid, I know!!!
She would just giggle when the potato bug went into a ball... She would look at her daddy and say, "Daddy, ball, ball..." She was so fascinated and then she tried to kick it.

Moving

For the 9th time since I have been married we are moving! I can't believe we are actually doing it. I have been debating for the past 2 months, but in the end Space and location beat out my hatred for packing and moving. I wanted to post the 8 places I have lived but then realized I would have to get in the attic and break out the pictures, so I opted against that. I'm a little sad. We have lived here for almost 3 years. That is tied for the longest we have lived anywhere. We did live in Oregon for 3 years so we almost made it to a new record. I am very excited for the yard, the view, the space, the fire pit, living less then a block from Mee-mah & Grandpa, living 10 minutes from the office, & having a trampoline and sandbox for Sienna. There are many positives to the move. I will miss terribly the luxury of living 5 minutes from Days Market, the swimming pool, having someone shovel our walks and mow our lawn, and the bike path in front of our house. So, I have 30 more days of living here and 30 days to go through all of our crap we have acquired over the past 10 years and get rid of it!!! Wish me luck. Hopefully this will be our 2nd to last move EVER!

Photo Catch Up

These are pictures that I don't really have much to say about, just wanted them in her book!
My favorite part of my entire day is sneaking in to check on Sienna after she falls asleep. I find her in the most random positions and have taken several photos. Most nights I check on her at least 3 times.

She could swing FOREVER!

Another sleeping shot
We went to the Homestead to feed the ducks. They got a little to aggressive for Sienna. Once we pulled out the bag of bread they came running over to her and scared the crap out of her. We didn't last very long.

This past weekend we dog sat for my parents. Sienna LOVED having Molly here. Every morning she would wake up asking for Molly. After it was all over and we returned Molly home, Sienna cried all the way to the office.

Worst Mother Ever

There have been a few moments in my road to motherhood where I have felt like the worst mother EVER!!! Friday, Sienna bailed out of her crib. I was down stair and heard a huge crash! By the time I made it up stairs she was still holding her breath!!! It was heartbreaking. As soon as the daddy got home that night we lowered the crib. Do you ever get over feeling like the worst mom?
I have lots to blog about but lost the cord to my camera. Hopefully it will turn up soon!

The Swaddle has been retired!!!

I never thought we would be able to get Sienna to sleep without the swaddle. I thought she would be 16 and I would be wrapping her up to go to bed. Over the past few weeks we have slowly removed the swaddle from our life... I am so proud that she is doing so well. She looks so big. We have a new bedtime routine. No more rocking we just put her in the crib, she cries for a few minutes then goes to sleep. I do have to go in and remove the blanket from her head. She has to have to over her head and it makes me so nervous so after 10 minutes I go check on her and remove the blanket. It's a big accomplishment to get over the swaddle... Next up, the Bink...

Mom's Graduation

My mom graduated from UVSC on Friday. She finished her teaching degree and already accepted a 5th grade position. Not only did she graduate, but she graduated with High Honors. We are all very proud of her and glad that the school part is over. After graduation we went to lunch at Mcgraths fish house. We hope Mee-Mah had a very special day!!! Congratulations!!!
